MS Series Remote Control Encoder & Decoder

It lets you send commands from multiple transmitters to distinct receivers in the same vicinity through digital addressing. It can be used with LT Series, LR Series, LC Series, KH3 Series, Series RF modules. For most applications, the MT Series transcoder provides better flexibility at a more cost-effective price. Consider using the MT Series for new designs.

MS Series Remote Control Encoder & Decoder Master Development System

Rapidly develop hardware and software based on the MS Series encoder and decoder along with Linx RF modules using the MS Series master development system. It comes with two development boards for benchmarking and prototyping, each of which is populated with an encoder or decoder and LR Series transmitter or receiver. A large prototyping area gives you a place to develop circuitry or use a different RF module. To help you get started, the system also includes antennas, extra modules, connectors, and a USB interface for connecting to a PC.

MT Series Remote Control Transcoder

MT Series Remote Control Transcoder

MT Series transcoders are designed for bi-directional remote control applications. Eight status lines can be set up in any combination of inputs and outputs for the transfer of button or contact states. An automatic acknowledgement indicates that the transmission was successfully received. The large, twenty-four bit address size makes transmissions highly unique, minimizing the possibility of conflict between multiple devices. A Serial Interface Engine (SIE) allows configuration and control of the transcoder by an external microprocessor or PC. When activated, the transcoder encodes the current input states and its address into a packet and outputs a digital data stream. This data can be sent to a receiving unit by RF modules, infrared link or even a wire. The receiving unit checks the received packet to make sure there are no errors and that the received address has been learned. If everything is good, then the transcoder replicates the received input states on its outputs. These outputs are connected to whatever circuitry is required by the application. The receiving unit then sends an acknowledgement to indicate that the command was successfully received.

MT Series Remote Control Transcoder Master Development System

The MT Series master development system is designed to assist in the rapid evaluation and integration of MT Series. This all-inclusive development system contains all of the tools and parts necessary to fully explore the capabilities of the MT Series transcoders. It features two fully assembled development boards for benchmarking and prototyping, each of which is populated with a transcoder and LT Series RF transceiver. The transceiver provides a reliable wireless link for basic remote control operation, which allows the transcoder to be quickly tested in a wireless environment. When you are ready to begin development, a large prototyping area with breakout headers and regulated power supply allows for rapid testing and integration of your own design.
