Transparent RF Modules

Transparent modules are a wireless wire. The data that is input to the module is used to directly modulate the carrier. There is no wireless protocol built into the module, no buffering or storage of the data. Usually there are no processors of any kind in these modules, just the physical radio. The advantage of these is that the designer has complete control of the over-the-air data. A wireless protocol can be created that is most efficient for the system; scaled for the amount of data sent by the product, the capabilities of the processor in the product, or both. A company can create a protocol that defines a new market. The products are open, so they can be very dynamic.

LR Series RF Transmitter and Receiver Modules

Send or receive digital data, control or command information with LR Series transmitter and receiver modules. Use the receiver with a matching or compatible Linx transmitter for reliable one-way wireless communication at 315 MHz, 418 MHz or 433 MHz. Compared to 2.4 GHz modules, narrowband modules from Linx provide longer range and lower current consumption at a more cost-effective price.

LT Series RF Transceiver Module

LT Series RF Transceiver Module

The LT Series transceiver is ideal for the low-cost, bi-directional wireless transfer of serial data, control, and command information in the favorable 260 to 470MHz band. Thanks to an advanced, synthesized architecture, this RF transceiver can form a reliable wireless link capable of transferring data at rates of up to 10,000bps over distances of up to 3,000 feet (1,000m).

LC Series RF Transmitter Module

LC Series RF Transmitter Module

The LC Series RF transmitter is ideally suited to a wide variety of remote control, command, and monitoring applications. It utilizes a highly-optimized SAW architecture to achieve good performance at a low cost. When the transmitter is paired with a matching LR Series receiver or an LT Series Transceiver, a reliable wireless link is formed capable of transferring serial data at rates of up to 5 000bps over distances of up to 2 500 m (1.5 mi) depending on implementation.
