Wireless made simple®

Wireless Remotes

The Linx wireless remote control products are ideal for basic remote control or command applications. This line features a variety of completely finished RF transmitters and receivers that have received FCC and Industry Canada certifications. The 433MHz versions have also received European CE certification. This greatly reduces the time and expense of adding wireless remote control features to a product. There are three families to choose from.
HumPRC™ Family

HumPRC™ Family

The HumPRC™ family of remote controls is based on the Linx HumPRC™ Series remote control transceiver. This transceiver supports long-range operation at 868 MHz and 900 MHz for multi-region operation, utilizing frequency hopping and industry-standard encryption for secure and robust communications.

The HumPRC™ interoperates with Linx’s HumPRO® family, making it the only remote control solution available that simultaneously supports data applications for seamless integration with sensor and control Internet of Things (IoT) applications.

Linx specializes in making the complex world of radio frequency easy for engineers of all skill levels to use and if you choose to incorporate our components in your design, we relentlessly focus on ensuring your successful product launch.

MS Family

MS Family

The MS family of remote controls is based on the Linx MS Series encoder and decoder. The MS Series uses a random fixed address with 224 possible combinations to give a high level of uniqueness and a reasonable level of security. The address is created by the user with the press of a single button, eliminating the need for large DIP switches. The MS Series also provide a wide range of innovative features including the ability to establish user groups and button level permissions.

Ease of use and security are dramatically enhanced by the on-board MS Series encoder, which allows instant creation of up to 16,777,216 (224) unique addresses without cumbersome DIP switches or cut traces.

DS Family

DS Family

The DS family of the Linx remote control is based on the DS Series encoder and decoder. Ten address lines allow for the creation of up to 1,022 unique addresses using DIP switches or cut traces. The serial protocol offers much better range and performance than older pulse-width systems while keeping the simple DIP-switch addressing.

HT Family

HT Family

The HT family of Linx remote controls is based on the DS Series encoder and decoder. The DS Series is completely compatible with the legacy Holtek® HT640 encoder and HT658 decoder that were used in previous generations of this family. Ten address lines allow for the creation of up to 1,022 unique addresses using DIP switches or cut traces.

Remote Control Evaluation and Development Kits

Remote Control Evaluation and Development Kits

The Linx Technologies Remote control evaluation kits and master development systems let you test the performance of Linx remote controls against your own design. Each kit comes with two remotes and an evaluation or development board for benchmarking and prototyping. The board is populated with a receiver and decoder. A prototyping area gives you a place to develop circuitry. To help you get started, each kit also includes an antenna as well as an extra receiver and decoder. Compared to an evaluation board, a development board has a larger prototyping area and an interface for connecting to a PC.

Every aspect of our products, documentation, support, and design experience are specifically crafted to achieve Wireless Made Simple.
