HumPRC™ Long-Range Remote Control Transmitter
The OTX-fff-HH-LR8-PRC Long-Range Remote Control is ideal for general-purpose remote control and command applications that require longer transmission distances. The HumPRC Long Range Remote Control interoperates with Linx's HumPRC™ and HumPRO® module families for 8-button remote control and mixed remote control/data applications respectively. The standard version of the remote is stocked for rapid deployments. The keypad and label areas can be configured with your logo for a custom solution with quick time-to-market.
The HumPRC™ Remote Control uses a Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) protocol to achieve longer range and higher noise immunity than narrowband radios. An automatic acknowledgment LED lets the user know that the receiver got the transmission. Variants are available which utilize the 868 MHz and 900 MHz bands for multi-region operation. It has been pre-certified for FCC, IC, and CE compliance, reducing costs and time to market. This small remote has a transmission range of up to 1 300 m (0.8 mi), depending on the receiver antenna and operating environment. It uses a single 3 V CR2032 lithium button cell.
