Software & Drivers

To aid rapid software & development, Linx Technologies RF modules, antennas and connectors are available as part of Master Development and Evaluation kits. The comprehensive development kits are designed to assist in the rapid evaluation and integration of these products. Some of the development kits include software for effective development. When a software driver or package is released or updated, it is posted here.

  • Wireless Data Development Software

The latest software included in the HumPRO and Amplified HumPRO Series Master Development Systems. Demonstrates the functionality of the Linx wireless data transceiver modules.

  • Remote Control Development Software

The latest software included in the HumRC Series Master Development Systems. Demonstrates the functionality of the Linx HumRC Series RF Remote Control and Sensor Transceiver Modules.

  • Linx Component PCB Footprints and Schematic Symbols

This library contains PCB footprints and schematic symbols for Linx products in Altium format. It includes modules, antennas, connectors and the battery holder. Linx provides no support or warranty for the library and accepts no responsibility for its implementation.

  • Microstrip Calculator

A microstrip is often used between an RF module and its antenna. This calculator helps you calculate the correct trace width for the PCB. The calculator requires Microsoft Excel.

  • GPS Master Development Software

The latest software included in the GPS Series master development system. Demonstrates the functionality of Linx GPS receiver modules and GNSS receiver modules.

  • MT Series Master Development Software

The latest software included in the MT Series master development system. Demonstrates the use and functionality of the MT Series transcoder.

  • MS Series Master Development Software

The latest software included in the MS Series master development system. Demonstrates the use and functionality of the MS Series encoders and decoders.

  • MS Series TX_ID Sample Code

This file contains sample source code for reading the TX_ID output by the MS Series decoder. This code is described in Application Note AN-00156.

  • QS Series Master Development Software

The latest software included in the QS Series master development system. Demonstrates the use and functionality of the QS Series USB module.

  • QS Series Certified Driver Installer

Bundled file; automatically installs the drivers. Certified for Windows 2000, through Windows 10 (32/64)

  • QS Series Certified Driver Package

Separate files; no automatic installation. Certified for Windows 2000, through Windows 10 (32/64)

  • QS EEPROM Programmer

The QS Series USB module can be programmed to display a custom name, description, and manufacturer ID as well as a unique serial number so that it can be distinguished from other modules on the same bus. The QS Series programmer is an executable that can program this information to the module's onboard EEPROM through the USB bus.

  • QS C Header File

Certified for Windows 2000, through Windows 10 (32/64)

  • QS VB Header File

Certified for Windows 2000, through Windows 10 (32/64)

  • QS Data Loop Example

This file contains the Visual Basic source code for a program that will send a string of characters to the QS Series USB module and read it back. This program requires that the DATA_IN and DATA_OUT lines on the module be connected together. The software makes use of the direct drivers and shows how to use the functions in a simple routine.
