SP610 Splatch® Antennas

Linx Technologies’ Splatch® SP610 is a surface-mount monopole antenna for embedded LTE and cellular IoT (LTE-M and NB-IoT) applications. The SP610 specifically supports low-frequency LTE bands from 698 MHz to 960 MHz, notably the 700 MHz bands, and 1710 MHz to 2700 MHz making it an outstanding antenna for LTE and cellular low-power wide-area (LPWA) applications in North America, Europe and worldwide.

The SP610 uses a grounded-line technique to achieve outstanding performance when subject to nearby sources of interference.

It is available in tape and reel packaging and is designed for reflow-solder mounting directly to a printed circuit board for high-volume applications.

Features

  • 700 MHz bands: Efficiency 61%, Peak Gain 5.1 dBi, VSWR ≤ 3.4
  • Compact package (40 mm x 10 mm x 2.8 mm)
  • Excellent performance with small ground plane (102 mm x 45 mm)
  • Resistant to proximity effect from nearby interferers
  • Direct surface-mount PCB attachment
  • Reflow- or hand-solder assembly

Applications

  • Cellular IoT: LTE-M (Cat-M1) and NB-IoT
  • Worldwide LTE, UMTS and GSM
  • Low-power, wide-area (LPWA)
  • Smart Home Networking
  • Sensing and remote monitoring
  • Internet of Things (IoT) devices

WS Series LTE Antenna

The Linx LTE Blade Dipole Antenna is an affordable and compact antenna with high peak gain, well suited for LTE customers looking for a modern upgrade over previous generation clunky blade antennas. As engineers look to migrate from 3G to newer technologies, they require a similar antenna that is affordable and can be easily implemented into applications. With no tuning or ground plane required, the LTE Blade Dipole Antenna greatly reduces the risk of implementation, making it a true plug and go solution.

Covering all cellular, NB-IoT, and LTE-M (CAT-M1) bands, the Linx LTE Blade Dipole Antenna outperforms competitive options, and is suited for use with both plastic and metal enclosures. Its affordable price point, small-size and modern design offers customers a low-profile option for a more aesthetically pleasing product.

The Linx LTE Blade Dipole Antenna is:

  • Compact in size
  • High Efficiency
  • Offers Higher Peak Gain than Competitive Options
  • Cost Effective

MON Series Monopole LTE/5G Antennas

Linx’s LTE-MON family of compact rotatable hinged-whip antennas provides options for a wide range of cellular LTE/5G and IoT applications, particularly in challenging sub-1 GHz frequency bands and on a smaller ground plane than competing solutions.

The LTE-MON series provides excellent multiband cellular and cellular IoT performance in 3 options targeting 600 MHz and 700 MHz bands like 71, 12, 13, 14; optimized 800 MHz plus GNSS/GPS & Bluetooth®; and general purpose LTE/5G.

The hinged design allows for the antenna to be positioned for optimum performance and reduces the potential for damage from impact compared to a fixed whip design.

Features

  • MON-L: Optimized 600 MHz and 700 MHz for LTE/5G bands like 71, 12, 13, 14
  • MON-E: Optimized 800 MHz LTE/5G with GPS/GNSS and Bluetooth® support
  • MON: General purpose LTE/5G applications
  • Covers all common LTE/5G/4G/3G/2G bands
  • Hinged for optimum positioning
  • Small, unobtrusive profile, less than 80 mm long
  • Extended temperature range to 130 °C
  • SMA plug (male pin)
